Melissa Bruzzano, Board of Directors - C Three Foundation
Melissa earned a Bachelor of Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 1989 and a Juris Doctorate from the University of San Francisco in 1993. She was a child advocate from 2000 to 2008 while living in Georgia. She was also on the board of directors of The Alcove, a shelter for homeless youth. As a child advocate, she represented hundreds of children, many of whom were removed from their parents due to addiction issues. She saw first hand that, for many of the parents, the currently accepted and often court mandated recovery programs did not work. In one case, the father of a 9 year old child died because he could not stop drinking. So, when she heard about TSM and subsequently watched One Little Pill, she reached out to the C Three Foundation to see what she could do to help.
Melissa now lives in Ann Arbor, Michigan with her husband, Marco and son, Nicholas. She currently provides pro bono legal services primarily to the Lost Boys of Sudan. She is also a musician and voice coach. She brings to
C Three legal expertise, a knowledge of non-profit boards and excellent organizational and advocacy skills.
